Halloween family movies is all the rage. With inflation comes the markup of everything, including those large candy bags. It might be time to start looking for some fun family alternatives. One of the best and safest activities for families during Halloween is having a family movie night.

A family Halloween movie night is a great alternative to trick or treating and it will create lasting memories, while possibly starting a tradition that will carry on until the year after year.

My family loves watching scary movies, not always necessarily Halloween movies but something that will make us jump – even when we expect it -or not. This year, instead of passing out candy, and instead of my son trick or treating, we are going to have a Halloween movie night marathon!

We are going to decorate the house, make cookies, popcorn, and still fill our bowls with candy. We are going to gather our blankets on the couch and watch movie after movie until we fall asleep!

So, for you safety and possible sanity, I compiled a list of Halloween family movies to choose from. Just make sure to gather your family to help you choose from the list!
