Regardless of race, this is a time to come together to ensure a safe and welcome environment for students to celebrate the culture of Black people and to learn about their impact on the nation, while celebrating their achievements. With student-led, honest and open conversations that dedicate time to expressing social injustices of Black people in America, which will create systemic change of action with our youth.

Final Thoughts
I hope you booked marked this page and will be able to lead a conversation of action and awareness with your students, your colleagues and even your family. By no means, does life of another race not matter, but Black Lives Matter is a representation of life that doesn’t matter by everyone in America. It is to express that being Black or the the idea of being Black means something and to this we celebrate with Black History and a week to make sure the conversation continues and is not forgotten.
