Hi, I’m Bianca — welcome to my corner of the internet!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I’ve spent over 15 years in education, as a Middle School Special Education and English Language Arts teacher, Dean of Students, and Behavior Interventionist.
How BlikeBianca.com Began:
Back in 2018, I found myself at a crossroads — both personally and professionally. Burnt out, underappreciated, and searching for more, I realized I needed to reconnect with my purpose. That’s when BlikeBianca.com was born.
This blog became a creative outlet where I could share practical teacher tips, honest parenting advice, and little lifestyle gems — all rooted in the everyday reality of being an educator and mom. It’s also where I rediscovered my first love: writing.
Fun fact — I originally started college as a journalism major! So in many ways, this blog feels like coming full circle, blending my passion for teaching with my love for storytelling.
What You’ll Find Here:
Whether you’re a fellow teacher, a parent, or someone juggling both, my goal is to help you feel inspired, supported, and purposeful in every part of your life.
Here’s to doing meaningful work and living with intention — both inside and outside the classroom.

Behind the name BlikeBianca.com:
When I chose the name “BlikeBianca: Being More Than a Teacher,” I wanted it to reflect something meaningful — not to offend or suggest that others should be like me. In fact, I once received an email implying that the name came across that way, but that couldn’t be further from my intent.
The heart behind BlikeBianca.com is this:
As teachers, our lives often revolve around the classroom — but we are so much more than our job titles. Each day, we step into roles that go far beyond what’s written in our contracts. We serve as parents, counselors, confidantes, psychologists, protectors, and caregivers. We pour into our students and communities in ways that can’t always be measured.
My message is simple — we are not just teachers.
We are whole, complex individuals with purpose, passion, and power both in and out of the classroom. That’s the truth I want the world to see and celebrate.
~Bianca
